Planned for Saturday 31 July 2027
A planned day out to Chatsworth House & Gardens. The trip date, prices and admission arrangements are subject to confirmation. Please contact K R Holidays to register your interest.
Chatsworth is a personal favourite of mine and somewhere that holds so many lovely memories. From splashing in the water on the Cascade steps as a child to growing up and becoming a huge Pride and Prejudice fan, it’s a place I’ve loved at every stage of life.
Inside the house, discover magnificent rooms, beautiful artwork and the impressive Sculpture Gallery. Fans of the 2005 Pride and Prejudice film will recognise Chatsworth as Mr Darcy’s Pemberley, making a visit that little bit more special.
Outside, there are 105 acres of gardens to explore, with colourful planting, sculptures, the Rock Garden and peaceful corners to enjoy. Visiting in summer is a must in my opinion — take your time wandering through the gardens and soaking up the beautiful surroundings.
For families, Chatsworth also has a farmyard and adventure playground, giving younger visitors the chance to meet farm animals and enjoy some outdoor fun. Entry to these attractions depends on your chosen ticket.
Whether you love history, gardens, a little literary romance or a family adventure, Chatsworth really does have something for everyone. I can’t wait to share one of my favourite places with you.
Provisional prices: Adult £55 · Senior £50 · Child £35
Pick-ups from Melton Mowbray and Burton upon Trent. Exact pick-up points and departure times will be confirmed before travel.
Return coach travel included.
Subject to confirmation. Bookings are not yet open.
